**Requirements and responsibilities** * **SCOPE** Supplier shall provide Remote Network Element Software Upgrade services * ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide remote support on any of the following required tasks: * Implements complex upgrades of Ciena equipment on customer’s In\-Service networks without impacting the services provided to the end user. * Network review and preparation by performing pre\-checks using Engineering tools to capture network data, perform analysis on, and work with the End User and support team to resolve any findings. * Deliver and own Network Engineering documentation for End Users via the Engineering Method of Procedure (EMOP). * Validate the actions taken by the field team are executed properly as per the steps detailed in the Engineering Method of Procedure (EMOP). * Ensure proposed solutions are technically viable, meet End User requirements and provide maximum benefit to Ciena. Deliver and own the daily execution reports. * Validates that the taken actions are executed properly as per the steps detailed in the Engineering Method of Procedure (EMOP). Ensures the End User’s network is operating in a stable state as designed during Maintenance Window activities. * Help investigate and collect information to resolve process or design issues found during the upgrade process * Perform new software delivery to the nodes pre\-upgrade * Perform final Software delivery and final checks post upgrade * familiar of 6500 system
