Quality Assurance Specialist

Quality Assurance \& Control:** * Conduct internal audits for QMS, FSMS, GMP, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Monitor product and raw material compliance against specifications (COA creation, RM/PM approvals, product release). * Manage nonconformities and deviations: document, investigate root causes, and drive resolution. * Coordinate the blockage/de\-blockage of non\-conforming products and raw materials. **2\. Food Safety \& Hygiene:** * Oversee and verify implementation of QMS, hygiene and food safety protocols (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC). * Follow up on pest control, sanitation practices, and departmental hygiene compliance. * Participate in trial implementations and validations of new products or processes from a QA perspective. **3\. Inspections, Audits \& Documentation:** * Conduct onsite inspections in all production and storage areas, promote departmental compliance. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date QA documentation (NCRs, complaints, traceability logs, audit records, etc.). * Support the preparation and execution of internal/ external audits. **4\. Continuous Improvement \& Risk Mitigation:** * Investigate customer complaints, product deviations, and quality failures using root cause analysis tools. * Participate in risk assessments, process studies, and suggest process improvements. * Support implementation of new QA protocols, materials, and procedures. **5\. Cross\-Functional Collaboration:** * Work closely with production, supply chain, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve quality and compliance issues. * Provide QA\-related feedback through reports, emails, and staff training sessions. * Participate in customer satisfaction surveys and implement follow\-up quality improvements. **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in food science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or other scientific disciplines. **Experience:** from 1\-3 years of experience in QA/QC in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and relevant regulatory frameworks is preferred. **Technical Skills**: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, with knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred. * Data analysis and reporting capabilities. Basic programming (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus. **Soft Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Excellent communication and documentation skills * High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability * Ability to work cross\-functionally and under pressure **Additional Information** **Purpose of the Role**: To ensure strict adherence to quality, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, preventing the introduction or release of non\-conforming products or materials.
