Uphold and/or promote company values and culture to new employees. Review and implement new reservation procedures. Process all reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations via phone, fax, or e\-mail. Identify customer reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Verify room type availability and rate. Explain guarantee, special pricing, and cancellation policies to callers. Respond to special requests and document them. Answer questions regarding hotel facilities/services and rooms. Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue. Enter data into and access the reservation system. Respond to accommodation requests as best as possible. Establish appropriate billing accounts in accordance with Accounting policies. Resolve and record customer issues and questions, or escalate/report to relevant personnel. Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and resource for Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy procedures. Monitor and follow all brand policies and procedures; ensure clean and complete work uniforms are worn; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality in sharing brand- and/or hotel-specific information and protect all company assets. Welcome and serve all guests according to brand standards; anticipate and meet their needs and thank them warmly. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and accurately and thoroughly proofread written documents; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other duties as requested by supervisors that are aligned with the position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent secondary education. Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
