Description **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** **Roles and Responsibilities** 1\. Prepare and test huge and complex datasets required for the various analytical projects. 2\. Participate in conceptualizing, building and maintaining the data architecture for multiple large\-scale analytics projects, while evaluating design and operational cost\-benefit trade\-offs within systems. 3\. Assist in the execution of architectural plans and implementation for future data analytics storage, reporting, and modelling solutions in order to support building high\-end analytical products. 4\. Work closely with data technical leads, application owners, end users and third\-party contacts to design, implement and test analytical datasets required for the analytical projects. 5\. Work closely with Technical, Business and the various analytics teams in order to solve technical problems and identify opportunities to enhance the analytics production process. 6\. Inspect operational, data or model issues across the data analytics pipeline in order to ensure providing high quality data and information to be used in the analytics production process. 7\. Assist in solving challenges in data integration problems, utilizing optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, query techniques, sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources in order to solve technical problems and smooth the analytics production process. 8\. Develop analytical reports, dashboards and advanced visualizations to provide the business stakeholders with the results of the analytical models. 9\. Assist in developing, automating and troubleshooting the deployment of analytics models and products in order to provide multiple analytics use cases across different business domains. 10\. Assist in the administration support for the department for its various analytics tools in terms of administration, upgrades, etc. 11\. Participate in the execution of the proof of concept (POC) for new technologies in analytics such as Hadoop, Informatica and Dataiku…etc. **Policies, Processes and Procedures** 12\. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks Qualifications **QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, \& SKILLS** **Qualifications \& Experience** § Bachelor’s degree of Information Systems, Computer Science or its equivalent. § Analyst: 2 \- 4 years’ experience in BI development, data engineering, data architecture or related fields. § Specialist: 0\-2 years’ experience in BI development, data engineering, data architecture or related fields § Solid Knowledge of with PL\-SQL and ETL techniques and frameworks is a must. § Solid Knowledge of DWH and DataLake concepts is a must. § Solid Knowledge of building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines and architectures, as well as big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. § Good Knowledge of Data and Information Architecture is a plus. **Skills** § Strong Analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy § Strong Problem Solving and Data Manipulation Skills § Ability to identify and describe the complex interplay between technologies and organizational structure. § Demonstrated ability to 1\) effectively work in an ambiguous environment, 2\) effectively work in a cross\-team environment and 3\) succeed in a complex and dynamic work environment.4\) Work independently, directly with the business partners § Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, especially with regards to sensitive or confidential personnel and organizational matters § Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with persons at all levels in the organization § High energy and high endurance; ability to respond flexibly and positively in all circumstances; calm under pressure and tight deadlines § Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and to priorities a heavy workload of competing assignments Primary Location: Egypt\-Giza\-GIZA HEAD OFFICE Job: Back Office Organization: FINANCE, STRATEGY, OPERATIONS \& TECHNOLOGY Shift: Day Job Job Type: Full\-time Employee
