About the job Sr. Supervisor Data Modeling \& NTRA Audit **Purpose of the job** We are seeking a highly capable and detail\-oriented **Senior Supervisor Data Modeling \& NTRA Audit** to lead critical activities related to regulatory compliance and data structuring/ modeling. This role combines technical expertise in data modeling and scripting with a solid understanding of NTRA audit requirements, ensuring that Orange Egypt meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining efficient and scalable data systems. **Duties and responsibilities** * **NTRA Audit \& Compliance** * Manage and lead all data\-related aspects of audits requested by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). * Design and execute audit data models and flows that ensure full compliance with NTRA standards and formats. * Collaborate with regulatory teams to interpret requirements, generate insights, and prepare audit\-ready datasets. * Ensure the standalone audit system is always operational, compliant, and updated according to new mandates. **2\.Data Modeling \& Engineering** * Develop, optimize, and maintain complex **stored procedures** and **Python scripts** for automated data processing. * Design and implement **new data models** based on evolving business and regulatory needs. * Work with **Trino SQL, MySQL, and Oracle** databases to ensure accurate, performant, and reliable data flows. * Translate business requirements into efficient **SQL queries** and database logic to support audit and internal reporting needs. * Handle data modeling tasks on modern data Lakehouse solution on\-prem, using open\-source ingestion and database tools. **3\.System Management \& Optimization** * Maintain and operate a **standalone data system**, ensuring uptime, data integrity, and operational efficiency. * Identify and resolve database\-related issues, ensuring that data pipelines are clean, performant, and scalable. * Continuously improve **data workflows**, collaborating with stakeholders across Regulatory, IT, and Data Engineering teams. **Job specification** **Education** Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. **Experience** * **4\+ years of experience in database development, data modeling, or data engineering.** * **Strong proficiency in SQL (Trino, MySQL, Oracle) and Python scripting.** * **Proven experience in translating business needs into analytical or reporting solutions.** * **Experience managing end\-to\-end standalone systems, including architecture, development, and troubleshooting.** * **Excellent problem\-solving, attention to detail, and cross\-functional communication skills.** **Skills and abilities** * Strategic and analytical mindset * Excellent communication and influence skills * Agility in cross\-functional environments * Fluent in English; French is a plus
