




**Requirements and responsibilities** We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing our automation test coverage, focusing on both backend and frontend web applications. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high\-quality software products by implementing robust test automation frameworks and leading a passionate team of software engineers. **Key Responsibilities** * Configure and create test automation frameworks tailored to our needs. * Lead the introduction of automated functional and regression testing for web applications. * Strategically plan the automation coverage for newly added features. * Design reusable automation components or modules to optimize testing efficiency. * Maintain and support the test automation framework, planning, and execution processes. * Ensure the highest quality of testing scripts and adhere to code standards. * Review test quality and coding standards across the team, providing guidance and leadership. * Write and execute test automation scripts, assisting with issue resolution as needed. * Collaborate closely with QA Analysts and Software Developers to devise effective solutions. **Required Skills and Qualifications** * A solid foundation in test automation with at least 4 years of specific experience and a total of 6\+ years in the field. * Proficient in JavaScript with strong software development skills. * In\-depth knowledge of conducting functional tests on browsers, preferably Google Chrome. * Ability to work effectively with Google Chrome Dev Tools. * Experienced in writing Backend/API end\-to\-end tests. * Skilled in systems troubleshooting and debugging. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM frameworks. **Preferred Skills and Qualifications** * Experience with database operations (seeding/resetting) using MySQL, Mongo, Snowflake, etc. * Proficiency in working with Docker; Docker\-compose is highly regarded. * Knowledge in building CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for Jenkins. * Experience with TypeScript is advantageous. * A team player who thrives in collaborative environments more than working solo.
