### **Summary** \#LI\-Hybrid Location: Cairo, Egypt As Facility Manager, you’ll serve as the key touchpoint for cross\-site and cluster\-level customer engagement, ensuring that all Real Estate \& Facility Services (REFS) activities deliver maximum value and quality. You’ll lead projects with precision—developing engineering studies, managing budgets, coordinating construction, and driving operational improvements. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you’ll own and manage feedback metrics, implement corrective actions, and continuously enhance the workplace experience through strategic collaboration and service excellence. ### **About the Role** **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure a comfortable, productive, and functional workplace environment for all employees * Lead customer engagement efforts to identify service gaps and improve workplace satisfaction * Manage space allocation, office moves, relocations, and seating arrangements * Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with local building codes * Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce emissions * Supervise vendor programs and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost\-effectiveness * Manage site support services including reception, mail, pantry, and transportation * Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all facility operations * Support capital projects and coordinate small\-scale office maintenance initiatives * Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as the primary contact for facility requests **Essential Requirements** * Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years as a Facility Manager * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Architecture, or Engineering * Strong knowledge of operations, maintenance, and compliance with local building and safety regulations * Demonstrated ability to lead vendor teams and manage site\-specific projects effectively * Skilled in contract negotiation, vendor selection, and performance management * Excellent problem\-solving skills with a proactive approach to facility\-related challenges * Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory **Why Novartis:** Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
