





The Role #### **Job description** **Responsibilities:** * Identify leads or opportunities for all lines of business across their assigned account to achieve sales targets and engage in an assessment of the opportunity with input from the line of business managers concerned. * Prepare and maintain complete information to be ready for reporting at all times, including the status of each opportunity and lead details. * Report opportunity assessments for common projects with their manager to share with the steering committee as input into the decision to bid as per process. * Build new client relationships and bring in new client accounts in coordination with the sales manager. * Handle all communications and problems that arise in the relevant account. * Respond to all client inquiries and correspondence. * Bring in sales opportunities for the country across the assigned account as per sales targets. * Participate in bidding decisions for country opportunities together with the sales manager, country manager, or chief commercial officer based on the delegation of authority. * Follow up with commercial and project managers to monitor the progress of country projects. * Monitor the profit and loss status of country projects with project managers and liaise with lines of business for the profit and loss status of common projects. * Follow up on client proposals and monitor order processing and cash flow status of projects. * Undertake price negotiations with suppliers when needed. * Prepare and submit monthly progress reports on assigned accounts to the sales manager responsible for their industry. * Update the customer relationship management system related to their opportunities and the accounts they are handling, including all required information. * Work with the sales manager and presales team to ensure appropriate market and pricing strategies are developed for the account. * Schedule follow\-up visits with accounts to ensure that all projects are running smoothly. * Approach previous clients and schedule visits to bring new opportunities and maintenance contracts. * Ensure ongoing development of industry knowledge by supporting and contributing to virtual industry special interest groups. * Work with presales to ensure they are updated with all lines of business portfolios and new solutions or products. #### **Personal skills** * Customer service oriented * Excellent sales and marketing skills * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills * Excellent problem\-solving skills * Excellent command of English and French * Good team player * Strong negotiation skills * Experience working with operators' environment #### **Technical skills** * BSc in engineering with a specialization depending on the industry * Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in a relevant field * Preferred experience in solution selling and integration value propositions * Expertise in government and military sectors Requirements About the company Giza Systems, a leading systems integrator in the MEA region, designs and deploys industry\-specific technology solutions for asset\-intensive industries such as the telecoms, utilities, oil and gas, hospitality and real estate among other market sectors.
