Full Stack Developer (React \+ Node.js) **Company:** 5Apart Limited **Location:** Hybrid **Type:** Project\-Based (with potential for long\-term collaboration) **Focus:** SaaS \& Business Services Platform **About Us** We’re building a modern, automated **company formation platform for the UK market**, Our mission is to simplify the process of setting up a business in the UK — from company registration to virtual offices, bank account referrals, and ongoing admin support — all through a single, intuitive digital platform. We’re now looking for a **Full Stack Developer** to help design, develop, and scale this platform from the ground up. **Role Overview** You’ll be responsible for both **front\-end and back\-end development**, integrating APIs (such as address lookups, and payment gateways) and ensuring a seamless experience from registration to checkout. You’ll work directly with the founder and UI/UX designer to deliver a fast, secure, and user\-friendly product. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain a responsive **React front\-end** integrated with a **Node.js/Express back\-end**. * Build secure and scalable **API integrations** (Companies House API, payment gateways, email services, etc.). * Implement **user authentication**, dashboards, and order tracking. * Work with **MySQL or PostgreSQL** for data management. * Ensure compliance with UK\-specific company formation workflows. * Optimise performance and maintain high code quality through reviews and testing. **Required Skills \& Experience** * 3\+ years of full stack development experience. * Strong proficiency in **React.js**, **Node.js**, **Express.js**, and **MySQL/PostgreSQL**. * Experience integrating **third\-party APIs** (e.g. Companies House, Postcode.io, Stripe, PayPal). * Good understanding of **authentication, validation, and security best practices**. * Ability to turn wireframes and mockups into working production code. * Excellent problem\-solving and attention to detail. **Nice to Have** * Familiarity with **Next.js** or **TypeScript**. * Experience with **AWS, Vercel, or DigitalOcean**. * Prior work on **SaaS platforms**, **marketplaces**, or **fintech tools**. **What We Offer** * Remote, flexible work environment. * Opportunity to work on an innovative UK\-focused SaaS product. * Clear project scope and milestone\-based payments. * Long\-term potential for ongoing development or a full\-time position. **How to Apply** Please include: * Your **CV or LinkedIn profile** * A link to your **GitHub or portfolio** * A short note on **relevant projects or API integrations you’ve done** * A covering letter \- Why you think you should be hire for this role Job Type: Contract Contract length: 6 months Pay: E£10,000\.00 \- E£12,000\.00 per month
