This position reports to: Digital Solutions Center Manager **Your Role: Own the Challenge** * Study customer requirements for RTU and SCADA based on specifications and meetings conducted. & Prepare the system architecture and Bill of Materials accordingly * Program and commission RTU/SCADA and relay communication settings based on various communication protocols. Perform all activities related to assigned projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics, and automation drawings. * Work in cooperation with the engineering manager, project management, and planning to evenly load the factory production line. The job holder must maintain control and knowledge of current orders and is responsible for resolving all difficulties and comments related to their assigned tasks to release orders for manufacturing. * Cautiously monitor department Key Performance Indicators such as FPY and OPQ. Continuous monitoring and analysis are among the main responsibilities of the job holder. Refining measurement criteria is also a key performance parameter. Additionally, improving customer experience is a key responsibility. The job holder participates in the team that collects and resolves customer complaints using ABB's official tool, CCRP. * You will be required to perform techno-commercial studies for selected offers. **What it takes to Run what runs the world** * You should have solid general technical knowledge, understanding of ABB rules and regulations, ISO 9001 requirements. Good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is mandatory, along with proven experience in automation systems including SCADA, RTUs, PLCs, communication networks, protection relays, and related application tools. * Minimum academic requirement is a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power, Communication, or Control * 3-4 years of experience as an automation engineer * Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic is required. French is an advantage * Good knowledge and experience in electrical and automation systems, sound understanding of design processes, training in SAP, customer satisfaction, communication skills, presentation skills, ISO 9001 requirements, company mission, vision, policies, and good knowledge of related software applications (AutoCAD and Eplan). * Experience with RTU and Substation SCADA systems is mandatory. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in teams, self-motivation, and positive response to challenges.
