**Location:**Tema, GH **Function:** Technical **Employment type:** Full Time **Required experience:** Junior professional – up to 5 years **Reference ID:** 78475 QC TECHNICIAN POSITION: Quality Control Technician QUALIFICATION: Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification EXPERIENCE: 1 to 5 years industrial experience DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (See below): ***Safety:*** *Regular identification of SUSA, near miss, etc.* *To adhere Nexans Safety Golden Rules, procedure for emergency preparedness and response in case of fire, First Aid and oil spillages.* *To adhere safety procedures while handling LPG inside laboratory.* ***Quality:*** *Ensure products are manufactured and tested in line with International (IEC \& BS) and National requirements, and customer specification.* *Certify "OK" or "NOT OK" on all semi\-finished products for further processing.* *Inspect and certified Ok or otherwise on all finished products before issue to stores.* *Adequately fill and complete Quality Inspection Reports.* *To make cable samples for the sales and Marketing department.* ***Delivery:*** *To perform inspection of In\-process control, Finished Product, Raw material test activities, wooden drums, packaging items to meet customer delivery deadlines.* ***Cost:*** *To execute receipt of copper scrap from customers for weight measurement* *Dispatching metal scrap for accurate weight measurement* ***Environment \& 5S:*** *To ensure 5S in the lab, FG test fence and product nonconformity area.* *To adhere environmental procedures while handling laboratory chemicals, solvents, etc.* **DEADLINE:** Two weeks from publication
