




The Role #### **Job description** **Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts**, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements. **Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with applicable laws,** and aligned with company policies and strategic objectives. #### **Risk management \& compliance** **Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts** and propose practical mitigation strategies. **Ensure all contractual activities comply with relevant laws, regulations,** and internal governance frameworks. #### **Contract negotiation** **Lead or support negotiations with external parties** to secure favorable terms and minimize legal exposure. **Collaborate with internal stakeholders** (e.g., procurement, finance, operations) to ensure alignment on key contract terms and business objectives. #### **Contract lifecycle management** **Maintain a centralized contract repository** and monitor key milestones such as renewals, expirations, and obligations. **Support the implementation and optimization of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and processes.** **Responsible for contract archiving in coordination with the contracts team,** ensuring proper documentation and accessibility. #### **Legal advisory** **Provide timely and practical legal advice** on contractual matters and business transactions. **Stay current with legal and regulatory developments** that may impact contractual obligations or business operations. #### **Personal skills** #### **Contract drafting \& review** **Ability to write, interpret, and revise contracts with precision.** #### **Legal knowledge** **Understanding of contract law, commercial law, and relevant regulations.** #### **Risk assessment** **Identifying and mitigating legal and financial risks in agreements.** #### **Negotiation** **Skilled in negotiating terms with vendors, clients, or partners to reach favorable outcomes.** #### **Communication \& interpersonal skills** #### **Stakeholder management** **Collaborating with legal, procurement, finance, and business teams.** #### **Clear communication** **Explaining complex legal terms in simple language.** #### **Conflict resolution** **Managing disputes or misunderstandings diplomatically.** #### **Technical skills** **University graduate, obtained Bachelor of Law.** **A minimum of three years of experience, preferably in a relevant industry.** Requirements About the company Giza Systems, a leading systems integrator in the MEA region, designs and deploys industry\-specific technology solutions for asset\-intensive industries such as the telecoms, utilities, oil and gas, hospitality and real estate among other market sectors.
