* **ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Direct, coordinate and perform routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs including engineering systems and utilities to maintain the physical appearance of facility and insure efficient functioning and operation of all systems and assets * Identify areas for improvement, prepare short term and long\-term plans for repair and maintenance, budget, capital expenditure, property renovations and upgrading * Prepare short term and long\-term plans for repair and maintenance, budget, capital expenditure, property renovations and upgrading * Lead outage maintenance projects, write and reviewed maintenance procedures, initiated improvements to plant equipment and helped with troubleshooting and repair strategies * Plan, coordinate and manage renovations, projects and new constructions with contractors and consultants, ensure projects processes are being executed properly on time and within budget. * Represent the engineering department during HOD, Facility Management/Property meetings, provide weekly and monthly reports, prepare data analysis and comparison presentations to evaluate performance and obtain objectives. * Respond to corporate and management inquires, also client's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to facility standards. * Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code. * Controlling work performance \& monitoring work quality and taking corrective action to solve any problem rapidly and avoid reoccurrence * Review design and drawings of projects, supervise the construction work as well as monitor project implementation according to the approved schedule to ensure that each will maintain profitability, specifications and purposes with a high level of quality and standards * Monitoring and auditing of engineering services and final products to ensure high standards of quality, Hygiene and compliance targets * Monitor KBIs relevant to the area to control performance against objectives and targets * Conduct technical and standard training for the engineering team, handling and follow up on performance appraisals for the engineering team * Performing routine maintenance and ensuring smooth functioning of HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, boiler station, generator, swimming pools, electric panels, transformers, fire alarm and fighting systems, pumps room, sewage tanks and water treatment plant, kitchen and laundry equipment. * Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment, take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety aspects of all plant and mechanical equipment rooms. * Ensure effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations and review monthly utility consumption reports and keep constant survey of correct calibration of all utility recording instruments. * Ensure fire, life and safety systems are operational and a perfect functional condition of all alarm systems and fire prevention as well as firefighting equipment. * **OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** *Assist and support management at other locations and sites* * **AUTHORITIES** Manage and supervise all maintenance team and other 3 rd parties According to company policies and procedures * **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL** **Education** : Bsc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering **Work Experience** : 8 \-12 Years **PC Knowledge** : Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Outlook, Oracle, MS Project **Technical skills** : English languages skills Knowledge of equipment operation, understanding maintenance process and techniques, principles of asset management, best practices and energy, hygiene and risk management, mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting and breakdowns repairs, Attention to details. **Personal skills** : Excellent communication and time management skills , leadership, achiever, multitask, strong decision\-making skills and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively
