We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ***Mechanical Engineer*** with a proven track record in the ***textile manufacturing sector***. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of all machinery and equipment within our textile production facility. ***Key Responsibilities:*** ***Mechanical System Design \& Improvement:*** * Participate in the design, modification, and upgrade of mechanical components and systems for various textile machinery (e.g., spinning machines) * Analyze machine performance and identify areas for mechanical improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. * Select appropriate materials, components, and fabrication methods for mechanical applications in a textile environment. * Develop and implement robust preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment, including regular inspections, and parts replacement schedules. * Lead and execute complex mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of textile machinery breakdowns, quickly diagnosing issues related to gears, bearings, shafts, motors, pumps, valves, and other mechanical systems. * Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of mechanical failures. * Oversee the mechanical installation and commissioning of new textile machinery, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing systems. Conduct performance tests on newly installed or repaired equipment. * ***Hydraulics, Pneumatics \& Utilities:*** * Manage and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in textile machinery. * Oversee the mechanical aspects of utility systems ensuring their efficient and safe operation. * Conduct regular mechanical safety audits and risk assessments. * Identify critical spare parts for textile machinery and manage inventory levels to minimize downtime. * Liaise with suppliers for parts procurement and technical support. * Collaborate closely with production teams, electrical engineers, and maintenance technicians to ensure seamless operations. Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff on mechanical systems and best practices. * ***Qualifications and Requirements:*** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering * **Minimum of 4\-8 years of hands\-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer specifically within the textile manufacturing industry (Cotton Spinning)** * **Proven expertise in the mechanical systems and components of textile machinery.** * Strong understanding of mechanical principles. * Solid experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices. * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in Arabic and English. * Proactive, detail\-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.
