**Reports to:** Engineering Director, Projects Manager for project related matters. **Responsibilities:** · Lead electrical engineering activities on assigned projects. · Read and understand process flow diagrams, heat \& material balances, equipment layouts, and equipment datasheets as necessary to support electrical scope · Develop project electrical scope, discipline documents, and inter\-disciplinary documents/activities. · Review and follow Project/Client specific electrical specifications. · Knowledge and experience applying industry codes and standards such as API, IEC, and ATEX, etc. · Ensure electrical documents meet project specifications. · Develop hazardous area classification drawings to international standards such as API and IEC, etc. · Develop single line diagrams using standard industry symbols. · Specify and review motor control design for low and medium voltage systems · Specify and review switchgear design for low and medium voltage systems · Prepare interlocking/logic schemes for electrical equipment · Design power, lighting, and basic control systems · Review electrical details and ensure project specification compliance for electrical equipment · Size, selection and purchase requisition for electrical equipment buyouts · Prepare electrical equipment datasheets · Size cables and prepare cable schedules and electrical bill of materials · Perform cable tray design (sizing, selection and layout) · Perform heat tracing calculations and prepare layout of isometric drawings · Prepare electrical documentation for manuals · Provide technical assistance on electrical scope to other disciplines · Assisting with development of Company electrical standards, specifications, and procedures · Provide electrical estimation support for proposals · Proficiency with Coordination studies, Short Circuit studies, Load flow, Grounding (Step and Touch) and Harmonic analysis, use of ETAP would be an asset. · Proficiency in using AutoCAD to create JB wiring diagrams and other electrical drawings. · Demonstrate an ability to prioritize activities and stay focused in a dynamic ever\-changing environment · Ability to work under time constraints within a project team environment · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel **Requirements:** · Bachelors or higher Degree of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering. · At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the oil \& gas industry with modular fabrication experience.
