**Requirements and responsibilities** We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer who is adept at modernizing Java JDK environments and possesses a strong background in working with Java 8 and upgrading Java versions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a commitment to software excellence, and a desire to contribute to the modernization of our Java\-based applications. This role involves a balance of technical prowess, collaboration with cross\-functional teams, and a keen eye for identifying and implementing improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, test, and maintain all APIs, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. * Manage and maintain SQL and No\-SQL databases, including tables, data, and stored procedures. * Analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems, identify areas for improvement, and optimize system functionality. * Collaborate with front\-end developers and other team members to set objectives and design functional, cohesive code that enhances user experience and supports analytical products. * Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. * Engage in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices, new programming languages, and techniques to better support team members. * Lead projects as needed, providing guidance and expertise to achieve project goals. * Support team efforts in feature development, balancing technical debt, feature development, and customer support. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Minimum of 6\+ years experience in Java. * Proficient in Java Web; experience with Java Messaging Services (JMS) is a plus. * Knowledge of Kafka, Karaf, and queueing services such as RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ. * Experience with MongoDB and Spring Framework (Core, Batch, and Boot). * Familiarity with OSGI is a significant plus. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. **Preferred Skills and Qualifications:** * Experience with Vue JS and JavaScript (1\+ years). * Familiarity with Ruby on Rails. **Work Environment:** At FlairsTech, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
