This role will drive the maintenance strategy, enhance system reliability, and support projects related to sustainability, capital investments, and facility management. **Profile** ----------- **Responsibilities/Duties** **Safety** * Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Regularly conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure the integrity of assets and systems, and mitigate operational risks. * Ensure that all maintenance work meets the necessary safety and environmental standards. * Carry out safety checks on assets and operational systems, ensuring compliance with both internal and external safety regulations. * Collaborate with safety inspectors and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments. * Communicate maintenance service updates with clients and stakeholders regarding safety and compliance matters. * Ensure the maintenance team and subcontractors adhere to safety and environmental regulations while performing their tasks. * Implement emergency response procedures and verify emergency systems functionality during regular inspections. **Maximo** * Supervise the maintenance and operational activities of civil and arrangement systems, ensuring work is conducted according to established schedules and industry standards. * Lead preventive maintenance strategies to reduce system failures and improve asset reliability. * Oversee and audit subcontractors' performance, ensuring that tasks are completed in accordance with contractual agreements and established KPIs. * Use CMMS (Maximo) to track maintenance logs, asset conditions, failures, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance schedules. * Manage inventory and procurement of materials, equipment, and spare parts using Maximo to ensure resources are available for timely repairs. * Contribute to the development and adherence to the maintenance budget, ensuring cost\-effective and efficient maintenance processes. * Oversee the handover of assets to clients, ensuring that maintenance providers meet warranty and quality standards. * Perform asset condition assessments and generate overhauling plans for critical assets. * Implement predictive maintenance tools and diagnostic techniques to assess system performance and optimize maintenance strategies. **Technical Leadership** * Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting expertise for civil and arrangement system maintenance. * Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists based on asset conditions and evolving operational requirements. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. * Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to assess complex issues and provide effective solutions. * Oversee the training of maintenance staff on emerging technologies and best practices. **Team Management** * Supervise the maintenance team and coordinate with other engineering Knowledge \& Experience** **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. * Fluency in both English (spoken and written) and Arabic is required. **Knowledge:** * General technical knowledge in civil and arrangement systems maintenance. * Proficient in using CMMS (Maximo or equivalent). * Strong understanding of maintenance management practices and principles. * Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the civil and rail sectors. **Experience:** * At least 5\-7 years of experience in maintenance and project management, with a focus on civil systems and infrastructure. * Proven experience in change management and continuous improvement processes. * Experience with CMMS/BMS systems, specifically Maximo, is preferred. * Background in the railway or
