We are looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud\-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining both Windows and Linux servers, managing automation and configuration, ensuring system availability and security, and supporting DevOps processes across production and development environments. The ideal candidate has hands\-on experience with cloud platforms, managed databases (MySQL), web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS), and is skilled in scripting, backup, disaster recovery, and high\-availability design. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and maintain Windows Server and Ubuntu/Linux systems in cloud environments. * Oversee production and development environments ensuring optimal uptime and performance. * Administer and monitor managed MySQL databases, performing tuning, backup, and restore operations. * Configure, secure, and manage web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS). * Implement and automate system updates, patches, and configuration management. * Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell and Bash/Shell. * Manage SSL/TLS certificates, renewals, and automated deployment. * Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high\-availability strategies. * Configure and troubleshoot networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and VPNs. * Monitor system performance and logs; respond to alerts and incidents proactively. * Document configurations, changes, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with developers and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable environments. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Required Skills \& Experience** * 5\+ years of hands\-on experience as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration (AD, IIS, PowerShell, patching). * Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu administration (systemctl, networking, crontab, shell scripting). * Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar). * Understanding of VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, NAT, and VPNs. * Experience with web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS) setup, optimization, and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with MySQL or managed database services (backup, replication, tuning). * Experience managing certificates and encryption (Let’s Encrypt, PKI, OpenSSL). * Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high\-availability best practices. * Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers). * Scripting proficiency in PowerShell and Bash/Shell. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Nice to Have * Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch). * Familiarity with logging and alerting systems (ELK Stack, Graylog, Splunk). * Experience with security hardening and compliance (firewall, patching, IAM policies). * Basic programming experience in Python or Go for automation tasks. * DevOps (CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines), Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation). * Experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar). \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Soft Skills** * Strong problem\-solving and analytical thinking. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. * Good communication and documentation skills. * Reliable, detail\-oriented, and proactive in maintaining system health.
