**Technical Office Engineer (Shop Drawings \& Costing)** **Location:** Alexandria, Egypt **Department:** Technical Office **Reports To:** Technical Manager **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Position Overview:** Bridge design vision and production reality by creating precise shop drawings and cost estimates for luxury furniture. Ensure every detail aligns with client specifications, quality benchmarks, and budgetary targets. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and review detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD or similar software, adhering to design intent and specifications. * Conduct quantity take\-offs, material estimations, and cost analyses for bespoke furniture projects. * Liaise with designers, consultants, and site teams for drawing approvals and modifications. * Coordinate with procurement on material sourcing (premium woods, metals, finishes). * Maintain documentation for cost tracking, change orders, and project archives. * Ensure compliance with luxury standards, tolerances, and aesthetic requirements. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or related field. * 1–3 years of experience in shop drawings, costing, or technical coordination (furniture/fit\-out preferred). * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus. * Strong grasp of materials, construction methods, and luxury finishes. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. **Why Join Us?** Shape the future of luxury furniture with a team renowned for innovation and craftsmanship.
