Quality Engineer

What you'll love about this job: * Review and implement new changes in specifications that will support plant quality goals. * Review and approve TCA' to ensure the correct implementation of the change management procedures * Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment * Ensuring the quality standards for product and process are met throughout the plant. * Responsible for providing adequate training for the Quality Department personnel (hourly and salary). * Responsible for providing awareness of the quality standards for the other functions. * Responsible for the implementation of the QST for the whole plant to ensure customer satisfaction. * Analyze the product scrap to identify the biggest contributors and how to tackle these contributors. * Supplier quality improvement programs in conjunction with Purchasing. (Supplier quality survey, supplier ratings, supplier certification, effective audit inspections, etc.). * Develop, report, and take action to improve metrics related to quality (i.e. cost of poor quality, customer complaints, product non\-conformances, etc.). * Plant Management and QAD are kept up to date on quality problems and concerns. * Prepare the audit planning of the PCA to cover all the plant processes. * Support to the production in developing training aids, as appropriate, assure JQA program is effective. * Ensure the implementation of the calibration program of all the equipment * Drives quality improvements by working with Operations and Engineering to implement effective quality planning tools, measurement systems, sampling plans, statistical techniques, traceability system or other process controls. * Maintain effective surveillance program, which provides timely detection and reaction to potential field quality problems and assures low level problem recognition, accurate problem identification, and prompt and effective corrective action implementation. * Maintaining Egypt plant ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 management systems This is Energizer Holdings, Inc.:Energizer Holdings responsibly creates products to make lives easier and more enjoyable. Position Summary:To assure the maintaining of production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules. His/her duties include identifying the specifications for an ideal product, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates.
