Working with the latest technology, you will contribute to our largest project ever and be part of creating one of the most advanced frequency converters on the market. You will be a significant part of full project cycles from specification to verification, release and maintenance.**What You’ll Be Doing** As a Software Engineer, you will be an essential member of a skilled development team having the full responsibility for the software in our iC7\-Automation drives. With a solid understanding of real\-time embedded software technologies, you will secure that development projects meet the customer needs, as well as the deadlines and quality objectives. Other areas of responsibility include: * Design, develop and implement state\-of\-the\-art embedded software applications and firmware for solving advanced problems for our customers, primarily in the food \& beverage industry. * Write and align product requirements. * Write and maintain technical documentation. * Define and describe unit tests, module tests and system tests, and support test execution. * Maintain the existing software and ensure high quality in all deliveries. * Work with the rest of the product team to ensure that the complete product is perceived as a high\-quality premium drive. * Perform debugging at application and hardware/software level. * Support customers in problem solving when needed. * Drive continuous improvement by staying updated on emerging technologies, and industry trends. * Manage and coordinate development activities with both internal and external stakeholders. **What We're Looking For** We expect you to hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, topped with experience in developing real\-time embedded software. You have experience with C\+\+, and preferably also Python and MathWorks MATLAB/Simulink. You have a drive for performance and are determined to be on a winning team. you are motivated by solving complex technical problems in close cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders as part of a team that values teamwork and learning.
