Our experienced team members are our most precious asset, having discovered, explored and developed more than 24Moz of gold resources and reserves in Ghana; and having managed Ghana's largest underground mine.* **About This Role** The role will be responsible for executing maintenance on Processing Plant electrical installations. This position will give inputs to the electrical supervisor on equipment maintenance and corrective actions **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor substations in the plant and carry out any maintenance procedures * Attend training, development and performance improvement training as required * Execute electrical refurbishment and maintenance work items as tasked – compliant and in accordance with all relevant regulations from Government of Ghana and AGBL * Execute daily pre\-start checks of equipment/tools prior to leaving workshop. Escalate and report any anomalies * Assess all equipment required for completion of the tasked work, create checklist, and transport all tools necessary for task completion * Recognize any machine, equipment or crane operation anomalies that would indicate requirements for maintenance, report and escalate. * Provide data and information to support the Maintenance Planner to close out work orders in the maintenance management system * Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. **Education, Work Experience \& Key Competencies** * HND or EET Part II or III in Electrical Engineering. * Three (3\) Years of experience preferably Process Plant maintenance * Familiarity with the Ghana Minerals and Mining (Health Safety and Technical) Regulation * Knowledge of the Ghana Electrical Wiring Regulations 2012, L.I. 2008 * Must possess an Inspecting Engineer's Certificate of Competency from Mineral Commission of Ghana * Strong electrical maintenance competencies in mining and/or extractive metallurgy environment * Basic skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project and Excel * Knowledge in Electrical starters maintenance: DOLs, VSDs, Soft Starters, Liquid resistance starters Ability to work in multi\-cultural environment where respect is paramount.
