Create and input office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Order and track necessary supplies and forms for the human resources department. Answer telephone calls and take messages. Create new personnel files. Assist candidates with application procedures. Maintain the area designated for applications and ensure its cleanliness, condition, and accessibility for people with disabilities. Respond to employee and management questions, requests, and issues regarding chain and human resources department programs, policies, and procedures. Inform human resources management of employee relations issues within the department or property. Preserve the confidentiality and security of personnel and hotel records, files, and information. Accurately maintain all personnel records and files (e.g., interview documents, I\-9\). Monitor and follow all chain policies and procedures; ensure a clean and complete uniform is worn; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality when disseminating information specific to the brand and/or hotel and protect all company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor. Welcome and greet all guests according to brand standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and accurately and thoroughly proofread written documents; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; work together and support each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Input and retrieve job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
